The Metrolina Wall and Ceiling Association was formed in 1997 by Professional Contractors, Suppliers and Manufacturers, who had a vision to help facilitate communication between our trades, to work on solving mutual problems within our industry, and to promote fellowship and goodwill among the various phases of construction.

In 2007 the MWCA had undergone a few changes in its structure to being operated by Commercial and Residential Contractors, hiring their first employee, and opening a new office. With a Passion and Commitment to be the Best, the New Board of Directors are determined to grow the MWCA to a statewide then regional Trade Association.

MWCA is an active member of the local community, sponsoring charitable undertakings while promoting a high standard of moral, ethical and legal behavior. Our goals are to establish professional standards and practices that can be adopted within the wall and ceiling community. We will endeavor to work with general contractors and others so that they might better understand our needs and problems, and to train & educate our work force with the newest products and methods available.
